Depends on HOW you spend your money and how you SAVE your money. I'm s single mother with 2 teenagers 16 and 13. I have a mortgage payment, car insurance, phone bill, electric bill,
I'm not on welfare...I have health insurance on all three of us, I buy my own groceries etc. and I do it on less than $600. per week (bring home pay)

I had a family of four. After my retirement was taken out of my check along with taxes, I tried to save 10 percent. So I spent about 85 to 90 percent. Sometimes this was difficult to do. Extra expenses would come up from time to time. Thats probably why america is so deep in dept. but, asides from that. Always try to put something away.

WELL MY HOUSE HAS 4 ADULTS AND 1 TODDLER AND I SPEND 800 FOR GROC 200FOR MIS. LIKE SHAMPOO DETERGENT ECT ECT THEN THE LIGHT BILL RUN AROUND 300 ANDTHE 5 CELL PHONES RUN 225 AND THE HOUSE PHONE IS 160 AND GAS FOR HEATING AND COOKING IS 100 AND THE GAS FOR THE 2 CARS RUNS ABOUT 3OO A MONTH AND IT WOULD B MORE BUT MY HUSBAND HAS A COMPANY TRUCK AND THEY BUY THE GAS FOR IT !! WELL I NEVER TRY TO ADD IT ALL UP CAUSE ITS DEPRESSING OH YEAH WE TRY TO PAY TITHS AT CHURCH THATS ABOUT 300 A MONTH AND IF THERE IS ANY THING LEFT NOT COUNTING WHAT WE INVEST I GET TO GO OUT TO SUPPER WITH MY HUSBAND AND ACT LIKE WE CAN AFORD THIS OH YEAH THEN THERE IS CAR NOTES OF 400 AND 200 AND INSURANCES FOR 4 DRIVERS @ 255AS MONTH GOOD LUCK

Water- 45 per month

Well, I live in MA and I have a family of three, looking to be four in a year or so. curently we rent ($1300/m) added to the rest of our bills around $3000-3500 easy!
