ASK HIM. If you really care about somebody, and if he is honest, ask him. See how much he tells you, how heartfelt, how accurate. If the info is not clear or conflicts, then he is hiding something or being dishonest. Ask more.
It seems really really wierd when people are spying on each other to see if they would date them, etc. Why not smile and date and talk? That's how you really get to know somebody, not by gossip, private investigators, or web searches on them.
Its fun to do a web search sometimes just to see what a person is into though.

google his name, it will give you some info. Or ask a friend about him that knows him. You can also go to your states courts.com and find out if he has a record.
