The whole concept of being a man has changed. I think women are fine, but men somehow have started succumbing to some sort of Euro-look that is more feminine.

Even guys who weightlift....used to be these guys were trying to get strong FOR something...sports, a job, work around the house. Now they work on muscle groups so they look good. Thats it, no functional purpose, they just work out to look good and be bigger than other guys. I hate that. Waxing? What man in their right mind would do something like that? I understand trimming up the playing field...why wax?

You are very right.

Hah! Not when you consider what men were like in the 18th Century Europe, wearing powdered wigs, pointy shoes, stockings, and make-up, mincing and poofing all over the place. Women had be even more "girly" than that, so they would fake "fainting" or "swooning" at the sound of an improper word.

So, I guess you prefer a "man's man." F*in A, right. Where's my 30 ought 6? Gonna git me some o' that Bambi. Belch.

I don't know what you mean by "girly". If you mean feminine, it could be that men are more in tune with their feelings, and the feelings of other people; then yes. Men have been bashed about the head and shoulders for about the past 30 years. Yes there's a lot that our gender of the species should be sorry for; that's not to say all the evils of the world are ours.....just a slight majority of them, LOL

I think with the 'modern' day woman, they are more aggresive. They want more out of life, and they're not going to let either man, former taboo, or misguided social gender issue dictate what they are going to be/not to be.

yes i do believe men are asking for more affection and looking to be taken care of by women. i don't know if i can agree with women becoming more masculine. but i can say women are certainly becoming less co-dependent on men.

I think it is just a change of the times. It is acceptable and encouraged for men to show their emotions and for women it's not as frowned upon if the are masculine.

I think men are becoming more feminine. All that gel and jewellery and tight clothes. And not to mention way too much cologne on half of them. Some men need to grow some balls.

With more men using moisturiser and more girls drinking copious amounts of beer, I can see where this question has come from.
