Could be Sleep Apnea or even Restless Legs Syndrome or a combination of the two. He really should be checked. Sleep apnea can shorten you life span or even cause heart problems. My brother-in-law has a C-pap machine and it slipped off early in his sleep and he ended up in the hospital for arrhythmia for 3 days. The doctors told him it was most likely caused by arrested breathing while sleeping without the C-pap. Good luck.

Sounds like sleep apnea. This causes a strain on the heart and deprives your body of oxygen. Take that man to the dr. It sounds severe. They can do a sleep study on him.

My dad has sleep apnea. Before he got his sleep machine, he would stop breathing and then take a breath. It might be, but I'm not sure. You should look into that.

It could be sleep apnea or just a bad dream. Either way he should get it checked it out with his GP.

It could be dreams too. You know how dogs will all of a sudden be sound asleep and then just spaz, same principle basically.

Sounds like it, my mom has it, you should take him to the doctor, he could stop breathing and die from it.
