If they are protected and enforced. Even then, there is always a way to break through. Look at the tunnels in our southern border. The key is more importance placed on the security issue. Especially in this day and age of fanatical terrorism seeking to bring death, destruction and bloodshed to our soil. Are we ready? Are you ready? That should be one of our primary goals. Or we can just wait until it blows up in our face literally. I say, be ready.

The Berlin Wall was pretty effective, from it's rise and fall only 698 people crossed illegally and 18 were killed trying. It would not work with our southern border though, Mexico does'nt want it's people anymore then we do.

They should, but an enforcement of the laws helps keep them "borders". Without law enforcement, they're nothing but lines on a map.

With high Walls
call, write, or e-mail your gov reps demand a wall
demand enforcement of laws on employers of illegal alien invaders
demand deportation asap when illegal captured
higher fines and longer jail terms for employers

Only when there is an Iron Curtain around them. That way no one wants in. But then the people inside want out and can't leave.
