Anyone else besides me left Mormonism due to finding out about false doctrine, such as that the secret signs and tokens used in the temple are from free masonry? that Joe Smith had many wives and including a 14yr old? that he used a "peep" stone to see those so called plates? or that their are a ton of false prophecies by the Book of Mormon? I'd like to know others who freed themselves from this cult and see what we can do to make a book about our stories!

This "false doctrine" you speak of...what is it? You must not believe in the bible either because EVERY bit of doctrine can be found in the Book of Mormon and the Bible that Mormon's live by. Did you actually attend the temple? Or did you hear someone's story that doesn't like mormons either? Symbolism is symbolism.
Sounds to me like you just didn't like living the strict standards...like most members who "free" themselves.
Why would a person willingly "free" themselves from all the amazing blessings promised? Too bad.

The thing is the mormons don't hide any of this stuff so I doubt that you were really mormon. Me however I am a recovering mormo(like a recovering alcoholic) I still have a lot of guilt built up inside me since childhood, I have to resist the urge to pull out a bible when someone challenges my beliefs, and I have a lot of kids.

Obviously you know little of the lDS faith, and the difference between Masonry and Mormons.

Any one who is in the LDS faith knows that we are free to choose our path, and no one is forcing anyone to join, or go to church each Sunday.
So what you say about "freed themselve from this cult" is not making any sense.
And you should also know that we are not a cult as you claimed.

I dont think you were ever Mormon. Although there are some who leave the church for a variety of reasons, none would call the religion a cult because it's definitely not one. Unless you are talking about the polygomous groups, but if you were you wouldn't refer to them as Mormons since they aren't.

Well said! It's a pity so many otherwise fine people believed such drivel. Intelligent, kind loving people who will swear by something so completely wrong.
They would be welcomed as responsible well meaning people by almost any religion if they could be made to see the light.

A couple of months ago a delegation of theirs attended an assembly of ours in a Northern state. They were well received and welcomed. Nothing further has been heard, but nearly 7 million brothers and sisters stand ready to welcome them as new brothers and sisters.........................
