Are you suggesting my people stole the land in 1948? Do me a favor and go the UN websiste and start reading documentation. Take a history lesson and you'll learn some very interesting facts.
For starters, the UN, through resolution, created BOTH an Israeli and a Palestinian State in November 1947 (I believe it was UN Resolution #181). Jerusalem was to be an international city administered by the UN.
On May 14th, 1948 David ben Gurion officially declared the State of Israel ONLY on the land in which the UN had decreed would be the Jewish State. The NEXT day, armies of several Arab nations rolled across the borders with the stated objective of slaughtering the Jews. We are talking about 500,000 Jews agaisnt millions of Arabs. Many of these Jews were barely three years removed from the horrors of the Holocaust.
So they defended themselves and won the war. In the course of that war many Arab refugees were created but, now here's the interesting thing: the majority of Arab refugees fled in advance of Israeli action. You see, they had spent so much time listening to their rabid anti-semitic leaders screaming about "the evil, murderous Jew" that they freaked-out at the mere thought of a Jewish Army.
Additionally, many were encouraged by their leaders to flee, to temporarily get out of the way so the Arab armies could deal with the "Jewish problem." They could then return to their homes and even have the Jewish lands.
Here's the reality: the Arab world has been cursed with a sense of entitlement and sloth unseen in duration and extent in human history. It is a backwards, primitive world where men dominate women, minorities are oppressed, freedoms are severaly curtailed, and corruption is the grease that makes everything go around. WAKE UP! Stop blaming the Jews (and America) for problems that are your own damn fault! Take responsibility for your own plight and leave my people alone!

Look, it has nothing to do with "right" or "fair". When it comes to nation building, the land belongs to those who have the power to take the land and hold it. The UN took the land, the Brits held it for a while, now the Israelis hold it. The Palestinians are putting up the best fight they can, and Israel is trying to appease them, so innocent people won't be killed anymore. Therefore, the Palestinians are taking back some land.
Will they have the power to hold it? Probably not. Will the international community allow Israel to move back in? Also, probably not.
Using your arguments, the United States has no right to exist either. What right did the British, and later the Americans, have to steal Adirondack, Algonquin, and Apache land? Is it time to let the indiginous people get their land back? I sure hope not.

The way it exists today,by occupying Palestinian's land,no...They are there by claiming that God promised them the land...But when they asked,in 1919(if I remember correctly)the creation of a Jew state in Argentina they didn't care very much about the fact that it wasn't their "Holy Homeland" ...talking about hypocrisy...
Yes,they took mostly of the land by terrorist actions. Two of the most known Jew terrorist organizations are Irgun and Haganah(the IDF from today)...Israel should have been created in first place, but now that it exists it would be impossible to give back the land to Palestinians...There are 3 UN resolutions asking for the creation of a Palestinian state the way it was in 1967...All are ignored by Israel...And I am sure that US won't agree loosing its ally in the Middle East...And along with it the control over Middle East...
And I totally agree with iknowtruthismine...

Your own question seems to reflect the fact that there was a Jewish population in that part of the world, which Muslims invaded and occupied. What makes their imperialism justifiable and the existence of a state in a place where a people has lived for centuries unjustifiable? Do you fail to understand that Arabs came from Arabia and are therefore not indigenous to that region? Maybe you should look up the word "indigenous" as you apparently know neither its spelling nor its meaning.

Palestine under no circumstances existed: If our lecturers, historians, politicians, and others are so confident of Palestine and its human beings one should be able to respond to extremely easy questions about the alleged us of a of Palestine and its human beings. case in aspect: even as change into the country of Palestine depending and through who? the position did the Palestinian human beings originate from? What were Palestine’s borders? Who were its pals? What writing did they use? What manuscripts or archives did they depart that change into written or engraved? What language did they communicate? What change into there faith? the position are there temples? What Monuments attest to there life? What change into the call of there capital? call its different significant cities? Are there any money that attest to there economic gadget? What change into Palestine’s variety of authorities? call its kings or rulers? With what different individuals did the Palestinians paintings mutually with? the position can we come across any archives the position interior the call of the country of Palestine or its human beings are pronounced? What archeological web pages can one call? the position can one locate the recorded heritage of those human beings? Whom did they triumph over or were conquered through? What brought about its lack of life or maybe as did it ensue? Who presented this us of a down? even as change into it presented down? also take into consideration: no longer even less than the Ottoman empire’s 500 year occupation change into the call of Palestine used for any section or portion of the Holy Land. surely even as Rome conquered Judea they'd have some record of this us of a Palestine and its human beings the Palestinians. If there change right into a geographic entity with the call Palestine in it and its human beings the Palestinians, why is there no aspect out? If Palestine existed we would have record of each and every of the international locations that conquered Judea which include: Assyria, Babylon, The Medo-Persian empire, Greece, The Muslims that conquered Jerusalem, the samaritans that lived in Judea,The Jewish human beings, and Rome. Oh and, its especially humorous, the time period Palestinia come from a murderous roman emperor. And the note Palestine comes from Palestinia.

The natives will tell you the land belongs to no one. The further back in history you go, the more you hear the opinions of the winners. Some say the arabs took it from the jews?
