interested in putting a console in floor for radio,stereo as to not mess up dash

Put it in the Glove box, they make kits for that, I don't know where to find one for a ford, but I used one in my VW, Just make sure to get a remote control

You can go to the public library and get manuals. Some do not let you check them out though, but you can still copy pages. I think I have one of the big old blue Chilton's for that year around here. At least things were easier to work on back then.

The LTD is not as popular to restore, thus not many new parts available. I have a 69 Mustang and there are many parts for it. You may be able to use some mustang parts.
