Because there isn't anything for them to say when confronted with blind faith being just that, and not a proven fact. Should I be insulting???? Oh why not, they never shrink from insulting the rest of us: Sometimes I think third grade is the furthest many of them ever went in school.

It's the same as believing in ghosts. If you've never had a ghostly experience you more than likely not to believe. If you don't watch for the miracles why would you believe? There's tons of proof in the Bible if people would open it up and read it, why else would it be there? All people go through a maturity process with learning, the more we don't know the harder it is to defend what we believe, but is a good defense if you ask me. You really can't prove He doesn't.

It's hard to explain faith to people with no concept of what it is. Faith is believing and NOT having proof, which is a problem when people keep asking for proof. You can't prove the big bang happened, so it would be like us telling you to prove it. The thing is, you can't prove a theory and we can't prove faith, you either have it or you don't. We're to spread the word, and you know about God, you know about Jesus, so basically, our job is done. If you choose not to believe, that's your prerogative.

Oh gods, am I about to open a can of worms...

Very rarely do I side with Christians on religious issues, but I do side with them on that argument. It is arrogant to assume that your logic is superior when you say that God can not exist. Just because something is invisible does not mean it does not exist. Just because something can not be read by current scientific instruments does not mean it exists only within the imagination. There is evidence of dark energy, but it is currently immeasurable despite its evidence of existence.

Just because something doesn't seem to be there doesn't mean it is nonexistant.

i have proof for myself. the moment i asked Jesus to forgive me for my sins I literally felt his power flow through my body and it was a feeling of heaven inside my soul. And when i get a strong feeling that just wont go away i know that he's speaking to me. and i got the gift of tongues and all i did was open my mouth and he moved my tongue for me in a language ive never known. and he cast a demon out of me. and he changed my heart and brought an overwhelming peace in my soul that cannot be described. and the other day when i was prarying i felt like he touched me on my back b/c i felt a warmth there. is that enough evidence?

It is a choice to believe in God or not, just as it is a chioce to believe in the facts or not.

He cannot be prooven to anyone.

But I believe in Him becasue it is only logical...

You can't call yourself a scientist and believe that the universe formed itself magically from oddless chance...

I mean that takes blind faith... especially when scientific law states this:

Energy cannot be created nor destroyed ( by natural means), only changed in form.

Well if you choose to believe that, that's your own blind decision, but don't shove backward Darwinism down my throat.

God bless you and yours

That's 4th grade. 3rd grade is believing in the first place with no proof God exists.

By your own statement you're implying that the question asking for proof is just as "third grade."

Why ask questions that can't really be answered - proof of this or disproof of that.
