Why do we hate so much? Have we not learned from our past? It's understandable that people are against illegal immigration, but how can people deny a human being their humanity. How can we have video games where the goal is to shoot people sneaking across the boarder? Every human has dignity; we can disagree with someone yet still respect their humanity can't we?
Did we forget about the Chinese exclusion act of the early 1900’s? People did not want the Chinese to immigrate, headlines writhed with stereotypes, “the Chinese take our jobs, they are criminals, they won’t learn our language, and they can’t assimilate.” Soon the Chinese were banned from entering the US, although they still came illegally. This still makes me sad. How can Americans be so cruel to people?

I am not making an argument for illegal immigration, my post was to shed light on the dehumanization of people only.

Most of the questions and comments you read on here don't even have anything to do with "Immigration" legal or not. It is merely a means of voicing ones prejudices. They just mix their words up to make it appear as if they are speaking about Immigration.
You know... like an anorexic mixes the food on their plate to make it look like they ate?
Some people do have legitimate comments, questions, and answers, but if you push the wrong buttons of some of them watch out.

I would ask why you keep making excuses for Mexico et. al.
Did you know that in the last 100 years alone, the world population has grown by over 5 billion people? Are you suggesting that they all be allowed to move to the United States at will? If we're lenient with Mexico on illegal immigration, what precedent do you think that this will set? What kind of a future will americans have by the time you get done in-filling our country?
And, furthermore, why don't people fix their own countries instead of trying to swarm our borders? We're really not splitting the atom, here, stacking some bricks maybe but not splitting atoms. Other countries need to get with the program, and take care of things, show a little responsibility, learn some basic math, that kind of stuff.
Didya know the US is in debt? Bet u can't even guess how bad, and a lot of it to pay for giveaways. Would this go faster and easier if I just hand you my wallet, and my car keys? That seems to be what you want...

It's the same old story since time began. "I've acheived this status level,and now you're trying to be like me. " I'm amazed at the way native born Hispanic will also regard illegals as "those people" and try to disassociate themselves from them too. What if the illegals coming here were Italian Americans? What would the Italian community say about that? How many Minutemen are patrolling the Canadian Border? What? You don't think Canadians want to come to this country too?

You expect humans to be civil and you act uncivil in your fake questions and answers and wonder why people are the way they are. If you think that humans were in any point in time a part of a civilization let me know where and when it occured. Did you know the Chinese made purges of their own people they slaughtered and made pyrimids of the heads? Do they sound like they have a heart or are civilized? You think Americans invented cruelty? Move to China and get a rifle butt to the head working in a sweat shop for a hand of rice and a fish head. You can always post your trash on a Chinese internet which is censored. They are small minded. Of course they are human beings and deserve to be treated as such. I support more amnesty for illegals even though some of my friends and family don't. Many of them are trying to escape extreme poverty or in countries like North Korea, they are trying to escape starvation and torture. They know they are breaking a law, but what person wouldn't be driven to try to escape to a better life for themselves and their family when they are hungry? For those who think that illegals are stealing from them, remember those illegals who are working a regular job and receiving a pay check are paying taxes too. Of course I think people should immigrate to this country legally, but why are there so many people who want to treat illegal immigration as something as criminal as murder or rape? Alot of these people are desperately struggling to obtain something that was handed to you on a silver platter.

I can't understand why you think people breaking the law should be treated with loving kindness and dignity.
Murderers, child rapists, bank robbers, border sneaks, are all illegals. None of them deserve any special consideration.
You asked, how can Americans be so cruel ? You failed to name the nations that receive those sneaking into their country with open arms, bouquets of flowers, and loads of money gifts.
I would guess that you're Mexican. Those sneaking into Mexico from the Central American countries are not greeted with open arms. How can Mexico be so cruel ?

Of course they are human.
However, we have limits on immigration of poor people because poor people pay less in taxes than they use in services, particularly education and health care services. Those who come illegally are in fact stealing those funds from our children and sick.
There is nothing dehumanizing about pointing out the impact.

We hate the illegal alien invaders because they strive to destroy OUR very way of life it is a war
We dehumanize them to make it easier to hate them.
Though with their protesting and Anti-USA stances we really don't need to dehumanize them to hate them.
They act like aminals and should be treated like aminals
