I got a little man yesterday who is named "Boo". I want the perfect name for him. I like Pickles, Pitch (as in pitch black) and a few others. Any ideas?

I told someone else to use these too, if it's male try anything of a dark natured name from a movie, mostly Sci-Fi, don't use anything from a Horror flick, you never know if the cat will be planning on slicing your head off or whatever. Go with Darth Vader, or maybe Sauron, or something. If I ever get a male cat and he's black, and have him be my female cat's playmate I might name him Darth Paw, or Darth Mew. A friend of mine, whom I work with, thinks they're good ideas.

Sabrina the witch has Salem, I have a black cat named, Winston.
I used to have a black cat named Mr. Cash, named after Johnny, the man in black.

I tend to like unusual names from mythology. I'd suggest either Anubis (who is often represented as a BLACK jackal), or Xibalba (the Mayan word for their underworld) (pronounced Shi-ball-ba -- (with a short i sound)). I had a friend that named hers the latter because he was a little troublemaker (she nicknamed him her little demon).

sirius (from sirius black in the harry potter books)
noir (pronounced nwa french for black)
vader (from darth vader in star wars he wears all black)
smee (reminds me of soot from the fireplace)
