They are alot of people on here downing everyone else's religion. So I would like to know....from what you see and hear from others...what do you think is the most hated religion in the entire world?

I left Islam out because i know people are upset with all that's happening over there right now. What I wanted to know was before all the Islam and terrorist stuff started happening....what was the most hated religion? I'm just asking to get people's opinion...i'm not trying to pick any fights...just curious. Thanks again for your answers.

It's strange you didn't explicitly name Islam. From what I know of conflict, I would have to say that Islam is right now the most disliked religion in the world. Just in India there are probably more Muslim-haters than the whole population of South America.
I'd suppose Christianity in general would follow as second most-hated.
By the way, all this hatred is dumb!

1) I personally don´t hate religions. I just despise the ones who promote them for ethical reasons. I call that Fraud with a capital "F". I think they lie. All of them. A good saying I heard lately is " Scratch a lier, find a thief" I think it applies beautifully. Tithe, televangelism fundraising and all the others mentioned in your multiple choice question raise money in one form or the other. It is THEFT, SWINDLING, FRAUD.
2) But I think that the most hated religion worldwide is islam, not because of its message but because of a impression in people´s head that muslim = terrorism. It´s not the case. There are extremists everywhere, in every religion, politics, ethnic membership, linguistic membership, even sports and also even in atheism.
I actually think we´d ALL be better off without any religion.

well i don't hate a specific religion
it isn't the religion's mistake at all like in islam it isn't islam's fault that some idiots brainwash other people by money or fame and let them spread hate and torture other people
no religion is like that if so then we would be dead by a long time before ! just read the historical books about islam one of the christians said '' i have never met in my life any merciful people like the muslims "
it's the bad people's fault not the whole Islam :)
so after all there isn't any bad religion there is only bad people who represent their religion ;)

While The True Christian Faith is not a "religion" it is indeed the most hated Faith.
This is because this world is under the dominion of satan and his forces of evil. The forces of evil infulenc the majority of the population of this world. This influence is direted to keeping as many people as possable from knowing The Way, The Truth, and The Life..... the forces of evil use any deception they can to keep as many as they can from God... Any thing that can be used to generate hatered, against those of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head, will be be introduced into the minds of those deceived by the forces of evil.
The list you posted only had one sect from which there are some of The Church. Though the world sees others to be"christian" only those who are of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head are of The True Christian Faith. The rest are deceptions used to keep others from God and from receiveing His free gift of Salvation.

Strange that you left Islam off your list. There is a vocal minority that turn apoplectic at the mention of their name.
That is a viewpoint that I don't share so would enter (D).

People are upset with Catholic priests getting away with molestation
Jehovah's Witnesses wake you up on the weekends and trample across your lawn
And Muslims...Saddam and Bin Laden messed things up for them.

G. Any religion that claims to be the only way. what hubris to think that you and only you have a direct line to the creator and that this creator only loves you andthose that follow you. Just remember that christ said, "In the latter days there will be those that call on my name and claim that the evil that they have done was in my name, but I will say Iknow thee not."

I don't hate anyone. I hate violence.
Probably the Muslim religion would be the most hated now for the obvious reasons. A peaceful group that are being represented by maniacs.
