Can you suggest any good free online translation sites for Hindi -> English? I would like to be able to enter Hindi words using the Roman alphabet and get a reasonable translation into English.
Also, do you know what the word "kaikashaa" means? I'm not sure whether it's Hindi or Urdu, but it appears in the song "Chaudavi ka chaand".

Actually, what I'm really looking for is good translations of some Hindi songs such as "Tu Ganga Ki Mouj". I know a translation takes some charm out of the original, but the translation should be as close to the original as possible while not being too difficult for a non-Indian to understand.

Neither babelfish nor www.freetranslation.com seem to support a Hindi translation.

Man, i m not sure about any Hindi-English translation site, but i can tell u that KAIKASHAA means GALAXY.

u shud try www.freetranslation.com.i use it for french it is real good.
