This next event is a match play event and technically won't add to or break the streak, after that the Ryder cup is gain an non open event that won't count. Tiger has won 6 in a row back in 99/00. He may do it again but I doubt it he will be so worn out after the Ryder cup that it will be hard for him to play at his best. What a great year he had. I can't wait until the ridiculous media begins to talk about his next slump after he fails to win over a two or three week span.

I think it's become psychological from here. Golf a mental game, and the guys on tour are no kids either. Lots of good players out there. If Tiger gets it together yes, why not. But, the thought of breaking the record, and so many of the same question being thrown at him now will increase the pressure which will make it even more difficult inside his head.

Got to wait for a stroke play event to find out. He'll probably win that one too. Better odds than the field!!

depends on how the Ryder Cup goes. if he doesn't get tired out he can win the next tourney, the WGC @ the Grove. its sponsored by AMEX so he probably won't skip it, but he might be too worn out. he is the defending champion tho.
