oooooohhh my favourite debate.
Alcohol, okay, yeah a social drug, that is "taxed" by governments but how many drink driving incedent are there... how many jail cells are full up from drunk violent abusers???
Weed - okay, not for everybody, but its NATURAL and how many people can have a fight when they're stoned. Does weed kill your liver?
And you gotta ask yourself, why do governments see weed as against the law? because we realise we cant be f.u.c.k.e.d. to go to work and just be creative and live life peacefully!
Drinking is worse for you.
JUST LISTEN TO WHAT BILL HICKS HAS TO SAY!

Depends which type of drugs, but in general I'd say drinking is worse.
Drinking is a long term, sustained attacked on your body. People do some damned stupid things when they're drunk...

It depends on the drugs and drink and why you take them. if for example you suffer from clinical anxiety - you may drink a lot to "calm you nerves", whereas taking Valium would be more effective and cheaper and under the control of a doctor. However, although Valium (diazapam) is less likely to damage your liver and pancreas than alcohol; it is still very addictive.

Its important to remember that both are poisens in there own right, any drink, be it spirit beer or wine can be tolerated by the body in small amounts, even then you can be ill after a reasonably small amount. Drugs! again, NONE of them are naturaly found in our body, with few exeptions, (Andrenaline etc) so unless prescribed, or the stated dose for pain relief, JUST SAY NO !!!!! I would have had 3 more friends if they had said it.
Good luck

Depends on the drugs. Dope is probably worse for you than alcohol. Alcohol can cause liver damage, and you can get alcohol poisoning. Some drugs are very addictive. Smoking drugs could give lung cancer.

well i would say alcohol although they are both just as bad,my brother died of alcohol related illnesses, and spent 5 weeks on a life support machine,it is horrific when you see the damage caused by alcohol and drugs, even if my brother had given up the drink, the damage was done, he had damaged his liver, his nerve endings, and had the brain of an 80 year old, if he had lived, he would have been paralised from the neck down, and he was only 37.but drugs are just as devastating

Anything that affects your brain cells is BAD 4 you!!!!
I hope you're not looking for excuses to continue some bad habits. Both drugs and alcohol can end up killing you, or someone very innocent... so there isn't one that is better to do than the other, and that is enough right there for me to think about and make a choice to know neither one are right for me. Hopefully you will see that too!
Sincerely,
~S~

I think Drinking is worse. Makes you lose inhibitions. Act like an idiot, then feel horrible in the morning.
I'm assuming you're comparing drinking to pot here. Hardcore drugs are idiotic.

in the eyes of society its drugs but look at how many people have trouble with drink. drink turns people aggresive; how many fights have you seen at nightclubs and pubs. i have never seen someone stoned start a fight...they couldnt be bothered and they would end up laughing anyway but the govt. make too much money from booze to worry about it.
listen to The Streets to get an idea....
