You only possible hope is that you get the top speed reduced to less than 20 MPH over. You will need a valid argument or the judge will shoot you down for wasting his time. You might claim that you knew you were speeding, but not going that fast. Good luck.

Wow, more than 20 over. Doesn't matter much the size of the town. Get an attorney. And if you are religious, repentance and prayer might fit into the equation too.

Suggestions? Well, one for the future. SLOW DOWN.

how can you plead not guilty when you were clearly driving way above the posted speed limit? you must have some spare change to want to go to court. this does not make much sense, if you have the court fee and such, why are you worried about insurance points?

Call the Clerk of Courts and find out if they take cash or VISA.Small towns need the revenue. You're about to contribute.

Hire an attorney since you have deep pockets.
Even with an attorney - try to control your speed in the future.

I have learned never to fight the law (cop) - the judge always believes them over you. They have taken an oath to serve and protect. Suck it up!

Get a lawyer! That could be a dangerous driving charge.

Don't hold your breath, son...say you have a medical condition wherein you'll totally pee all over yourself if you can't get to the bathroom in time...

What do you plan to say to contest the ticket? Unless it's good, you're wasting your time.
