This is up to you, but do you really think you are mature enough to date him? There is going to be a big generation gap. What will the two of you have in common? Those are the questions I would ask myself. Personally I don't date anyone unless they are at least with in a 5 yr age range.

my parents are 10 years apart (she was 19 when they met, he 29). It's been bumpy over the years, but they're still together (35 years and counting).
As time progresses, age matters less (I know, I'm going a little far LOL).

There is nothing wrong with that.....my first boyfriend was 25 and I was 15, my parents knew about it, and we were together for 3 years. It taught me a lot about having a real relationship, security, intimacy, ect. it was a good experience, just don't let anyone tell you different, if you think is right, go for it. Good Luck.
