If one of your top three pet peeves or objections to illegal immigration involves "them" coming here and not embracing America and the flag, or waving Mexican or other flags, answer me this please?
1. Do you think it's a quality of America that you can be American and have the freedom to hate the country? Or do you think that we should worship the American Flag as an Idol or symbol of God?

2.Sort of unrelated, but if you were paid ten million dollars to sleep with Aaron Carter and one other male celebrity in a 3way, which male celeb would you choose (hint, Justin Timberlake is one of many acceptable answers).

Oh yes, and keep in mind that many protesters that wave those flags are indeed American citizens

Just because someone waves another flag doesn't mean they hate everyother country they aren't waving. It's heritage people!! Grow up!

You sound like a major hypocrite.

My primary objection to illegal immigrants is that the first thing they did, even before they got here, was planned to break our laws in order to come here. Those who object to the "illegal" designation gloss this fact over - in fact this is EXACTLY what they are as they chose to come here illegally and hence they are "illegal aliens" as opposed to those who did it right.

If they are American citizens (and here you contradict yourself as illegal aliens are NOT American citizens - that is the problem), why are they waving MEXICAN (or other) flags, not that I have any problem with them loving their country of origin - but at the very least they should be waving BOTH flags, not just the Mexican flag.

You make no sense in question 1. Yes, you are free to hate America. But if you hate it, WHY ARE YOU HERE? LEAVE!!!!! You sound like one of the many loony lefty losers who talk incessantly about how much they hate America, THEN THEY STAY HERE ANYWAY. Anyone that does that loses credibility right out of the gate. The flag has nothing to do with God or religion. The flag has to do with the blood of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so idiots could show their ignorance by asking questions that are childish, ridiculous and prove more than anything else that the questioner doesn't have a clue. Though some claim it is erronious, specific meanings are attributed by others to each color and symbol on the flag. Look it up and maybe it will keep you from asking another dumb question. The flag is not "worshipped" as you put it. It is (or should be) respected and revered, but not worshipped. Your second question gives away a lot about your personality - shallow, interested more in tawdry sensationalistic things.

You might take a million dollars to sleep with two guys, but I wouldn't and, since I'm a hetero guy, I especially would not sleep with other guys. Plus, celebrities by and large are overrated. Take Paris Hiltion. She's as vapid as she seems. Met her at a shoot for "Veronica Mars". She's not worth the time or effort, take my word for it.

Flag waving or flag burning is a right given to the American people by our freedom of expression. Do I like watching people burn the flag, whether a citizen or not? No. But being an ex-soldier, I realize that many men and women have paid the ultimate sacrifice to preserve that right for Americans to burn the flag if they so desire. However, in my opinion, there is a time for everything. Waving a foreign flag in ceremony to celebrate an event in your "culture", (ie. Mexican Independence, St. Patty's, Pulaski Day) is showing your pride in your nationality, something I'm sure everyone has done. But not being an actual citizen and protesting for rights that aren't even guaranteed you as a non-citizen, all the while waving a foreign flag is to spit in the face of all those people that have fought and died to give you those rights to begin with.
If your going to protest in this country, at least pay some sort of tribute to the men and women that have paved the way for you and wave the American flag. Being that you have done nothing for this country but come here, you owe the dead heroes at least that much. Seriously if it was that easy to protest, why not do it in the country whose flag you're waving?
I love this country and all it has given me, the greatest country in the world, even with all it's falacies. I do not respect nor trust my government, hence I'm no longer a soldier, but would die or kill for any citizen to preserve our freedoms without thinking twice. That is what that flag represents; the unselfish, personal sacrifice that many a man and woman from many a nationality have made for me and I will never forget that.

1)Yes you are free to hate America. You shouldn't hate America if you live here, but you are free to. Just don't put the Mexican flag up at a US post office like they did in California.

2) I would pick Justin Timberlake and before our 3way started I would send Aaron Carter out to get something from the store and I would lock him out.

I think if you really and truly hate the United States, get out and good riddance. Take your flag, and your sob-story, and go back where you came from, which is most likely the source of the entire problem. I wouldn't be against just stopping immigration altogether until people finally figure out which country it is they seem to like better. Why should we tolerate people coming to OUR country, and agitating for their crap to begin with? They could always take a try at solving their OWN problems, just once in a while, you know, to like, break the monotony...and it's not like they're up against anything herculean or anything, like the earth splitting in half, just the usual, people being too ignorant, lazy, and disorganized/corrupt to support themselves, and somehow america's supposed to wave this big magic wand and make it all better. Doesn't work that way.

Mexico in particular has worn out their welcome in the United States. The may-day march was truth in advertising as far as a lot of people were concerned, we take all comers who want in that come legally, but this has gotten STUPID, and something needs to change, preferably Mexico. There IS no magic answer for how screwed-up their country/countries are, but fixing their problems starts with, yes, hard work.

I firmly believe that we'll start seeing some positive changes in other countries as we 'tune up' the whole immigration mess. When our country's no longer a soap-box/whipping boy/rich uncle for everybody's sob story/next scam, and instead we can maybe help em learn how to set things up at home so they've got less problems, then we'll be getting ahead of the game. But, first, gotta stop people from flooding in at will, and that means a good border.

If they still hate our country, they can do it in the country they're from or whatever, where we can turn it off and get about fixing some of OUR own problems that have resulted in part from playing host to all that garbage to begin with. We can grow our own food, make our own cars, make our own most everything the way it was being done in the USA as recently as the 80's, and they can go back to doing whatever it was they were doing before they discovered the Ultimate Free Ride. I don't see Mexico starting a space program, building airplanes, anything like that,
or even so much as building enough hospitals to serve all its' citizens, which would be a GREAT start, instead it's 'gimme gimme gimme'/'this is OUR land'(which is totally bullshit, reference the Treaty Of Guadalupe-Hidalgo), that kind of stuff,
and frankly we can try to help, we just can't do it FOR Mexico.
Stack one brick on the other, and MAKE that country better, stop expecting the United States to be and do all things etc. Instead, build it kind of the same way we did, promote literacy, provide clean water and electricity, agriculture, medicine, build schools,
all that peanuty goodness. It's not really that hard, once you sit down and think about it...but it's still not America's responsibility to do it for em. This is their Big Moment, to either join fully in the 21st century, or get left behind...time will tell whether they intend on riding America's shirt-tails for all perpetuity...

You find your quality of Americans that are neo-nazi and anti-government types that will spit on the flag or burn it.
No one worships the American flag as an idol or symbol of God. I for one respect it for what it stands for, freedom and those who have fought to the death for freedom.

The purpose of the march was to allow people who are unlawfully in this country to be allowed to stay.
No, the people demanded to be given the right to stay.
And at the same time waved flags from their countries.
It is the epitomy of arrogance. That is the objection.

Those immigrants who do not like american people and flag should either leave the country theirself or should be thrown out. Other intending immigrants who love americans and their flag shoul fill the gap.

Worship is, in my opinion, the wrong word to use...I would use RESPECT. I love our country but hate what the president, senators and representatives are doing to ensure our demise!
