My bf of 2 years & I have 1 child together.
He is absolutely horrible to me and threatening to take our child away.
Honestly he is the only one doing anything wrong, I have talked to friends and relationship counselors and there is really no room for improvement on my part.
Right now I'm a stay at home mom w/ no vehicle but I am looking for a job.

I'm not sure how long I can put up with this guy.

I have been to a battered womans shelter and they are deplorable living conditions, full of drug addicts and sick children.

My son got pnemonia and head lice from this God forsaken place.

So, like a dummy I came back, hoping for better.

Not even a chance. It is worse than ever.

I need some cash in the bank to LEAVE FOR GOOD.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO KEEP A SMILE ON MY FACE?
PS He is trying to hire a babysitter to watch our son all day, and then I will be at home all by myself. It snows alot here, cant walk to a job. No friends or family in the area to help either.

Been there. Save money you will need lots of it. Look into housing and use someone elses address for correspondance. Look for a job that is where you want to live. Once this is done pack up necessities only and leave. Leave a note if you want or not. I would not by what you say you are going through. Do not leave when he is home and don't tell him what you are planning. Safety first always.
I kept a smile on my face for many months while I planned my escape. I trusted my teens with info and worried about that constantly. I just nodded and smiled and talked to my friends for support. See if there is a crisis line you can phone to help you through this. YOU CAN GET THROUGH THIS. DO NOT GIVE UP. DO IT FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR SON. LOOK FORWARD TO A HAPPY LIFE.
Good Luck.

You REALLY need to get out of that relationship! Don't you have family that you can turn to who can help? Take your son and get out as soon as possible. You are in a very toxic relationship and there is no way that you can fake happiness. It will just eat you up and then what use will you be to your son? Get out!

Can your family send you a plane ticket or bus ticket and you can go home to them? Get OUT of that relationship it will only lead to something horrible. Ask your family for a one way ticket to where they live. Gee I would even do that for you and I don't know you.
