NO ~ You usually want to use solid colors with pin stripes. There are some exceptions but you want to stay away from that combination.

Yes, but it depends on what it all looks like. You would need to have a very discreetly pin striped pant, and a shirt pattern that matches it in someway (usually a common color between the shirt and pant). I'd lean away from the striped shirt and striped pant tho, that can be very tricky to pull off! but something like a dark colored shirt, with a dark argyle pattern on it would look alright with a lightly pin striped pant.

Mmort22, it seems that these days there are no 'rights' and 'wrongs' in the fashion world. We see stripes and patterns and florals mixed together all the time. The secret seems to be that you need something to link them together, and that is often color. So if the pin striped pants have a white or grey stripe and the striped or patterened shirt has white or grey in it, it should be okay. Now which tie are you going to wear with this ensemble?

hmmm i wouldnt suggest it
but maybe u can pull it off if the pin stripes are really fine or if the pattterned shirt is only lightly paaterend

When in doubt go with polka dots and pinstripes. Visually, it confuses some and sends the unstable over the edge. Powerful, powerful fashion statement.
