I'm a little freaked out. I caught my boyfriend dressed up entirely as a female. Not a slutty one but a real deal girl. After the "I was just joking" BS was over he admitted that he liked dress up like a girl occasionally. I dont think that he is gay or anything but I also dont want him to continue doing this. The thing is that I love him dearly. Is being a transvestite like being an alcoholic? Can you quit? Are there programs? Or should I just deal with it.

Just deal with it honey... If you love him and its for real love... not like 10th grade kind of love... then true love is accepting. If he loves doing this, let him know it bothers you, but if he doesnt change... dont make him. Good luck

It can be cured/suppressed, but the mental treatment for that is highly controversial at the moment and not an orthodox method by any means. I'm sorry that you had to happen into this type of situation! Unless you are comfortable with the transvestite culture (which I'm guessing you aren't if you asked this question), then you will probably have to seek a new boyfriend. Check your heart first, then check your mind and start asking yourself some serious questions. This guy will most likely come out of the closet now that he has been found out. Can you bear a relationship like this, or will you need to let it go?

It's not called transvestite if he doesn't have a sex change, it's called cross dressing. No there is no cure. And if you love him and want a life with him you will have to learn how to deal with it. If you can't deal with it you better leave now, because it will not stop and it may get worse (more often). Think very hard about the situation. Good Luck

I think you should just deal with it, it is not a sickness or anything, it is he's choice, at least he is real about it and admits it.....so if you are not ok with it, then decide not to be with him, otherwise deal with it....at least he is not gay? or is he? is he bisexual? Ask him, if he really talked to you and told you he likes to dress up, then ask him about everything that comes to mind.

There are no cures for being a transvetite. Check with your boyfriend, maybe he is not a transvetite. There are people who likes to cross dress during sex. These are normal people. Only in bedrooms during sex they do these. These people usually enjoys alternative sex such as cross dressing, bonding, wax, sado masochism, spanking, master and slave and etc. If he is into it, than u have to prepare yourself for it too as the sex are painful.

Live and let live. You just found out you not only have a boyfriend but a girlfriend also. Deal with it. or if it really bugs you that bad, drop him. Just be upfront and try not to look down on it.

"The saving of our international from pending doom will come not by the complacent adjustment of the conforming majority, yet by the creative maladjustment of a non-conformist transvestite." -MLK quote, transvestite develop into substituted for minority yet another sturdy one: "All artwork and no play makes Jack a useless transvestite!" - in case you do not recognize the source of this, there's no desire for you.

You'll have to deal with it. That's like saying there is a cure for homosexuality.

research more about his life to confirm that there is indeed something strange about him, then if he is gay or something, i suggest you find a real man and dump him..anyway the two of you can be just friends.

It's not a disease. no it cannot be cured.

maybe he is just acting out a fantasy.

I like wearing women's panties from time to time and my gf even goes shopping and picks them out for me.

If it's not your thing then you do need to speak up but to him and try to be polite about it.
