They are used to record video playing on a television onto your computer. It's a go-between for the two. You can get them at any electronics store such as Circuit City, Best Buy, or Radio Shack.

Its basically anything that records real time footage. You can use the device to record real live footage of tv shows and then transfer it to your pc. . Prices may vary. Not sure about the exact price but It should be very much affordable (less then a $100 definetly). You can buy it online or at any electronics store like Best Buy, Frys, Circuit City or even Radio shack! . I highly recommend ebay or amazon!

The ATI TV Wonder is a good capture card. Has a de-interlace option that is very valuable if you plan on posting vids on the internet (you would use interlaced video for making DVD's though).

They can be found for under $100 (see link below).

i dont know where you can buy one or how much they cost but i do know what it is for. The one jojofans.com has is for to capture images from a video.

they go on ur pc they can capture images or a vid on ur T.V they run from 200.00 to 300.00 (the good kind). any way get it at "Frys".
