I like the idea...these illegals are finally getting something right. Boycott work? how about boycott this country!! We will really miss you. It would be so much fun to clean up the slummy neighborhoods to bring them back to former glory for all the LEGAL citizens of this country

That would be fantastic. They can keep boycotting and everyone will just continue to ignore them. All of the companies that hired them will eventually just hire someone else. Then they will have a boycott march and they can just march their way out out of this country.

Demand for labor would be filled by somebody if all illegals left-- A day w/out a mexican is just a political ploy.

The problem is that proponents are trying to justify illegal immigration. The even get PC by saying undocumented immigrants. They're illegal immigrants pure and simple - its not a question of documentation, its getting PERMISSION to enter legally.

And slums existed in this country way before the illegal alien problem. There are slums from every ethnic origin so take off your beer goggles.

Suurre, but let's do something positive IN Mexico at the same time to try and help them get on the right path. Then again, with the advent of the internet, instructions as to how to build schools, farming, roads, all those things can't be that hard to get hold of anymore, and that's the kind of thing they need. Mexico needs development to support its' people, plain and simple. That doesn't necessarily mean that Mexico needs american tax monies to do all that with. Cinder block is a common building material, I'm sure they've got the basic components in the soil there to make cinder block, start running off thousands of tons of block, and start building, I say. Do it right, and you've got a building that'll outlast YOU! LOL Seriously though, a lot of the things Mexico needs to 'go' really aren't that expensive, it just takes the 'many hands 'moving in the same direction toward a good goal. If they REALLY started doing that, I even bet that there'd be some people in the USA willing to help, maybe even give up some spare change to help. But, the way that 'development' has happened so far is that a lot of people have just shown up in our country, claiming to be 'hard luck' cases, and betting that the hospital/county offices will be weak and not turn them away. But, what kind of future IS that, really?
We don't need a perpetual second class in america, that's what the civil rights movement was about, equality. So, let's have an end to the illegal immigration, the under-the-table wages, and the rest of it, and help Mexico get on a REAL path toward reform.
They say they need help, ok, let's help, but let's have it be that 'eyes wide open' help, where we count the till when we're finished doing business, and only give aid based on outcomes, meaning that if they want/expect more, they better spend what they get from us wisely. Give a man a fish, he eats today, teach him to fish, he eats for a lifetime, if we're going to get all 'christian' about stuff, then how about applying some christian principles. Help Mexico to fix itself, don't do it for em. Mexico's not the only country out there that needs that kind of 'help', either.

I laugh, because I hope he's young enough to be here 50 years from now. I'll bet anything we will have nearly as many Spanish speakers as English Speakers and you idiots will have to adapt. Also, I bet most of the Spanish speakers will be bilingual and speak some English too. The idiot Engish speakers will be left behind if they don't adapt. I don't think it is just the Mexicans that are making our neighborhoods so terrible. Most of it is white trash or poorly behaving blacks. I don't think it is fair to just blame the Mexicans.

All they want is a chance to provide a better life for their families like any good person wants. And a day with out them was hard but a country without them would be impossible.

I suggest you get some counseling for your issues and stop taking them out on innocent people.

While many illegals in the United States of America are from Mexico, MEXICAN isn't synomous with ILLEGAL!!!

That said, only illegal Mexicans should go? What about Irish, German, Chinese, Cuban, Haitian, British? Or can these illegals stay because there aren't a lot of them so they can break the rules?
