PLEASE take your cat to the vet IMMEDIATELY. If it is poison that your cat injested, it is suffering. Please, please do not wait it out to see if the cat improves and please don't try any home remedies, please go to the vet.

This will either be very severe, resulting in death or relatively benign if she didn't get too much. I say "relatively" benign as poisoning is always serious matter.

She has not vomited at all? Activated charcoal is usually given to animals that have ingested poison because of its very high absorptive power. It doesn't sound like she was poisoned by directly ingesting the insecticide or weed killer.

If she survives you must do a detoxification of her system. "For a general detoxification of the system I use Detoxifier for Cats, a liquid formulation combining herbs and flower essences made by Tasha's Herbs (800-315-0142)....animals who are exposed to constant low-grade toxicity in the environment, such as from lawn chemicals..." Shannon Hines, DVM. For dosage follow label instructions.

"The herb milk thistle (Silymarin) is a magnificent protector and detoxifier of the liver. ..Twin labs silymarin extract, available in health food stores." Pamela Wood-Krzeminski. DVM. A few drops in the mouth three times a day until the condition improves"

I sincerely hope your cat has not been seriously poisoned.

Take her to the vet inmediately because she might be poisoned, remember cats like to eat grass and sometimes they eat weeds too, if she had a taste of the pesticide there is a chance she might be poisoned, by the way she is acting this might be it. Hurry, hurry!

she knows there's something wrong and she trying to fix herself ....hopefully it is just some hairballs forming and can be "bad timing" in reference to when poisons were sprayed ...but by all means get her checkd out because you know there was spraying in the house!!! Even if you just have to call the(a) VET to see what's what. They can advise you to look for other things to confirm or rule out a posioning problem. Don't waste time ...regarless of what it is ...your baby isnt feeling up to snuff...thats why she ran out to eat grass. Cats will do that(esp indoor cats) when hairballs are a problem

You can feed her some plain yogurt to replaces some of the natural inzymes in her intestinal tract, but if you think she got into poison you really should take her to the vet.
