Why do you think that gokart121 and other anti-anyone differentthanus types will watch people looting in New Orleans for food to survive and understand the primal need to survive, but can't apply that to the need for lawless entry to the US of illegal immigrants. Do you think it is because the skin color of the immigrants, or is it because they fear that America will become more culturally enriched and different?

Last time I looked at the Katrina videos the people looting were all colors,so stop trying to place this as being only racially motivated. The failure of city,state and federal officials are the main cause of there having to be any looting in New Orleans.
There can be no compression between millions of illegals coming into this country and the tragedy of the Katrina victims.
Tell me exactly what culture are we in America missing.?We are one of the most culturally diverse nations in the world.You perhaps need to know more about America before you start casting disparaging remarks about this country.

Gokart can answer for himself. The New Orleans to illegal aliens analogy, twenty pairs of Nike's, the contents of a liquor store and a giant screen TV...food stamps, medicare, section 8, and emergency room medical care do have something in common beyond the perpetrators being chest deep in water!
I don't feel cowardly, thieving invaders offer anything positive to America's culture any more than any other parasite "offers" the host it leeches off of.
If Mexican illegals were so brave and noble why don't they go home and join those patriots trying to change their home country? Criminal parasites offer Nothing Positive to a culture!

Depends on how you define 'survival'. If 'Larry' the bum sleeps in the street, week after week, month after month, year after year, despite people trying to help him, get him employed etc etc., are you still supposed to feel sorry for him?
I'm not against anyone getting a chance for a better life, but honestly all they gotta do is fill out the paperwork, but that's not really what's going on anymore. Part of the problem with the whole immigration mess is that the process has been so badly abused over the years, people game it all day long, the basic spirit of the whole program has largely been corrupted, it's a mess. And, one of the fun aspects of the whole picture is Mexico and drugs. I'm all in favor of asking that that border fence be completed, if they can't get in, they can't peddle drugs. Further,
it's not as though Mexico's in a famine, if anything, they've got food they don't know what to do with, and if they didn't have, they could have if they really wanted to, because they've got arable land that would fill that need, such as it might be. Mexico's got 110 million people, I'll just bet there's 3 or 4 that know how to grow food.
Support border enforcement, and enlightened progress-based foreign aid ONLY. No blank checks, no bad policies...

Forcing immigrants to follow the proper protocalls for gaining admission into America legally has nothing to do with stifling diversity. My great-grandparents, along with a whole lot of other peoples ancestors came to America to make their lives better. these immigrants from all over the world all learned to live within the laws of the United States. They learned to speak English and to respect our flag and our policies. It is absurd for the Immigrants of today to assume that our health care system, legal system, penal system, and our school system all evolve to suit their needs ie: forms and publications any other language than English, teachers, police departments, judges and prison guards
in America to be asked to speak any other language than English.
If you haven't entered this country legally respecting those basic provisions, how can anyone expect an illegal immigrant to follow any other laws.

I think its because looting for food to survive is different from forging documents, not paying taxes, and the other crimes illegal immigrants commit to live in the US.
