Most common cause of snoring - obesity. Losing weight eases the pressure on the wind pipe.

Blocked sinuses can do it but you know if you have them - you look down and the floor plummets away or rushes up towards you.

Smoking can do it as it can weaken the muscles around the nose and throat so they narrow.

Sometimes its a medical condition that is treatable so see the doctor as well.

Use snore strips sold at drug stores, loose weight if overweight, take an allergy pill if allergies are bothering you. These are some effective ways of reducing snoring.

my dad snores louder than anyone I have ever heard. He tried those breathe right nasal strips, they didn't work. Now he uses some nose spray that apparently helps, but only lasts for a couple of hours. Other than surgically, I don't really have any idea. Change sleeping positions.....I used to smack my dorm roommate with a pillow when he would snore

If its not you, then tell who ever is keeping you up at night , to stop eating late at night and that'll stop the snoring.

go to a sleep clinic. They may have Sleep Apneia its kinda dangerous. You may stop breathing for a while wake up startled and go back to sleep. Causes severe headaches and sometimes people don't catch their breath and die in their sleep. If they are overweight tired all the time fall asleep during the day have headaches ......then see a Dr. they may recomend a Cpap machine to aide in breathing while asleep. Good Luck zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
