I can't imagine any circumstance under which polygamy would be OK. If you love someone enough to want to have sex with them, I can't see how you could have other partners as well.

From a legal point of view, no real legal impediment to have more than one partner if you're not married.

men are players. many have more then one partner. they call them friends with benefits. no judge is going to throw you in jail for screwing more then one chick. no judge will throw you in jail for cheating on yoru wife.
