An inner ear problem can cause dizziness. I don't know if it can headaches, but I'd assume dizziness and headaches but go hand-in-hand.

An ear infection can cause any number of things. So can situations when wax has built up far down in the ear or other ear problems that don't have anything to do with loud music.

One problem people can get from listening to too much loud music or other loud noise is ringing in the ears (tinnitis).

Unless the problem you're having is a short-term thing that may get better on its own (just yesterday the news had a thing on how ear infections are likely to clear on their own), the only way you'll be "getting back into shape" is to see an doctor who will rule out other causes of the dizziness and who will then either treat the ear or refer you to an ear, nose and throat specialist.

Don't diagnose yourself. There's a chance it isn't your ear at all.

You need to let your poor inner ears rest. There is nothing you can do to calm them except limit your exporsure to loud noises. Hopefully, you have not done permanent damage - as once you mess up your ears -- it's over. Turn the music down.

A problem of the inner ear affecting ones equilibrium is best treated by an ear nose and throat doctor.
