If you can afford the extra money that the 400D, since it has an extra 2 megapixels, and a few other impovements. There is a reiew site listed below.

http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?method=sidebyside&cameras=canon_eos400d%2Ccanon_eos350d&show=all says the only difference is the pixel count and the LCD size, which is 3/4" bigger on the 400D. There may be other differences that you would find in a written review, but they sure spec out pretty similarly.

I wonder if the 350D is better in low light, using the argument that packing more MP's a the same size sensor increases noise that we hear when some compare Nikon's CCD to Canon's CMOS. Anyone???

If it were my money, I'd get a 350D and put the $200 difference towards my lens collection.
The biggest differences between the 350D and 400D are an extra 2MP, and a dust-reduction system. To me, that doesn't justify the higher price.

400D is a lot better. i would go for 400d if i was asked to choose.
