Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. The less you eat in the evening the better. If you couple this with exercise you'll see the pounds flying off. You just need to cut out the alcohol as well!

First of all - GOOD LUCK! I am currently a member of Weight Watchers and have lost 2 and a half stone in a year. I know this is longer than you want to take, I had a friend who joined with me but she couldn't cope with a slow weight loss so she gave up. She then heard about a product that a colleague of hers had used and lost 8 stone with in about 9 months - I think it is called Linatone but I'm not sure. My friend got it from the chemist who interviewed her about her eating habits, weighed her, took her blood pressure etc. He would only supply her with 1 weeks worth of the product and this meant that if she wanted to continue with it then she would have to go back to the chemist every week and be checked out. From what she said it sounded like she was well monitored.
The good news is that she lost 2 and a half stone in 6 weeks and looks fantastic! The bad news is that she couldn't eat a thing, she could only have the drink or the soup or the shake supplied, she couldn't even pinch a chip off the kids plates or it would ruin the whole weight loss. My friend was totally dedicated to this and she got the results she wanted but I know that I am not that disciplined and I could never do it but if you think you could then you will easily lose 2 stone before January. I hope whatever you do works for you and I hope you have a fantastic time at your sisters wedding, I'm sure you'll look great.

Get lots of sleep. It burns more calories, the more you are awake, the more you will eat. You will have more energy to work out.

Eat 3 small meals, 2 snacks a day to keep your metabolism going.
Eat veggies, fruits, chicken, whole grains, low fat dairy. Eating healthy is the only way to keep the weight off for good, creating a lifestyle you can live with forever.

Do lots of cardio and weight training. Weight training will build muscle which burns fat, cardio will help you burn fat.

Get more active by parking the car far away, take stairs instead of elevator, get moving.

The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume, so it's not magic....

Glass of water BEFORE every meal, (fools the old tummy into thinking it's full). Less alchohol, sugar & fat. Some excercise, but don't go mad with silly diets. Sensible eating. Low fat can be tastey. Well thats what I'm doing at the mo. 2 & 1/2 stone overweight. Needs to go. Good luck to both of us

I have done the Cambridge diet this year and since February I have lost 4 1/2 stones. If you go to http://www.cambridge-diet.com and e-mail them they will get a counsellor to call you who is in your area. It's great. I have gone from a size 20 to a size 14 in clothes. Try it. It works

Self disciplie, self believe, tenacity ..... dont give up; dont keep watching the scales (once per week).
Early to bed, early to rise, keep on the move. Plenty aerobic exercise.
Dont forget - everything in moderation ie allow yourself x1 treat per day, and relax about things - the weight will come off as long as you persevere.

The Atkin's low carb thing REALLY works
I lost some 60lbs without workingout
but you cannot eat any sugar or fruit or carbs at all
no bbq sauce no icecream no milk
you eat what the book says and thats it

Do not eat after eight cos your metabolism slows and drink an unhuman amount of water. The water curbs your appetite and flushes out your system.

I have a great three days on four days off plan that you can use up until the wedding. It really works, if you stay with it and you DO NOT STARVE, it's very strict.
If serious, contact me.
