t engaged to a different girl with in three months?

My husband dated another girl on and off for nine years before me and then he broke up with her for good and started to date me. We were engaged three months later. And now I just found out that one of my best guy friends who broke up with his girlfriend of five years is engaged to a girl he's only been with for two months! What is the deal?

They weren't sure of feelings they had, along comes miss perfect for them and pow, they knew it from the start, so why wait? Are you complaining for being the perfect girl for him or what?

Despite what girls think, guys know what they want, they just don't know if they will ever find it. So they sometimes take a test run. Sometimes they run out of gas and stay, other times they take a detour, and at other times they take the exit. Congrats!

Alot of us just won't "commit", sounds cliche, but it's true. I've never done this kind of thing myself, but a close friend of mine has; lived with a girl for approx. 8 or 9 yrs, total , and now has since broken up with her (they were never married) , and is dating someone new the past 6 months. Total waste of both of their 20's, in my opinion. Another guy I know lives with his g/f , they've been together about 12 yrs total, they have a three year old kid together, and they're still not married. I'm a guy too, but this is very lame. I wouldn't want my sisters with guys like these really. The real question might be, why do so many females let slouchy guys like this get away with this for so long without putting more pressure on them to raise the committment level to something permanent ??

Yeah that is weird. I think some guys go through that long of a relationship and by the end they know they want to get married but they just don't think they want to with the one they're with. So then they break up and start dating someone new and they're like, wow this relationship is so different that the last one! Better settle down while I've got the chance.

The good news is that neither married. Then they found "the one". Once you find the right one, it is natural to move fast. I met and married my wife of 20+years quickly, engaged in 6 months, married in a year.
If anyone does not commit by (2) years time, then the odds of a marriage are remote.

Its probably because they were so use to the other person, so set in their ways, that when they meet somebody new and totally different, it feels totally different. So this new and exciting feeling is something that they do not want to lose.
