Well, of course the price varies from store to store. The cheapest potatoes usually seem to be from Fred Meyer or Winco.

On one receipt that I have, a 10 pound bag of potatoes is $1.98. (This is from Winco back in July). Not sure what the prices are right now, but I'm guessing that 10 pounders are between $1.98 - $2.10 per bag. And 5 pound bags are probably closer to $1.50.

p.s. And yes, I was shopping in Idaho in July.
