well my dog is not as playful and she eats more than usual.

Are her nipples getting bigger and swollen? My little chihuahua was pregnant was 3 pups, and after awhile I could definitely feel each of them kicking. Toward the end, I could also see them kicking the side of her tummy. Please take her to the vet.

Take her to the vet for an ultrasound and/or x-rays. If you don't intend to breed her, have her spayed. Her vulva will swell and her nipples will swell. If she's due anytime soon, you may see milk coming out of her nipples. She may start to nest, so have a quiet, warm, darkish spot ready for her. Things could go badly for her and her pups if she didn't get prenatal care, like getting fed puppy food, regular checkups, exercise, vitamins, etc.

when my golden retriever got pregnant she started getting fat and her nipples came out. She also would pick up little stuffed animals and carry them around and put them in her doggy bed. By the time she had the puppies she had at least 15 stuffed animals in bed..

Check to see if you can feel actual lumps in her belly. Did she go through her heat recently? If so, do you recall when it would have been possible for her to get knocked up? If she hasnt went through her heat yet this year there is no way that she can be pregnant.

Watch her nipples. Feel her stomach for movement. If you suspect this, prepare a place for her to give birth, preferably not outside. Too dangerous. Play the waiting game. If she is pregnant and gives birth, please get her spayed for her sake and yours.

IF you are going to allow your dog to get pregnant, why would you not learn something FIRST so you would know what you are doing??????????????????????
Backyard breeding is just puppies for profit and no real knowledge.

if she goes around looking for a spot to have her babies if she is nesting which is digging and making a spot cunfy
