Depending on where you live, some college programs are funding by Unemployment ensurance. I think if you want to apply to a regular diploma program most colleges will accept you but you may not be able to get financial aid through student loans. You should always enquire with the Unemployment office and the college financial office.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

I went through college through a program from the unemployment office and I was able to collect unemployment through the whole three years that it took to graduate, but you have to keep a passing grade in all classes and go full time........

You should not be collecting unemployment as a full time student unless you are available for full time work. No, they won't give you six months more.

I don't think you can collect unemployment as a full time student, because you are not available for work.

I don't think so. From my experience being a college student you actually get screwed by the government in a lot of ways. Example: taxes and medicaid.
