I am not sure. Most people I have met do like the sound of hearing their own voice. When listening to ones own voice, like on a tape recorder et al. it sounds different then hearing oneself speak. This is because the way the voice is transmitted. I think people who have nice distinguished voices are very fortunate. There are classes and techniques that teach people how to have a nice distinguished sounding voice. Many of the TV celebrities have actually had classes to learn how to make the most of their voice. Statistics state that many people speak nasally and need to learn how to speak deeper from their diaphragm. I always admire men with deep manly voices and women with soft feminine voices. Interesting subject!
