Well now, that would depend on your definition of 'passion'. One could be technically superior in the art but doing it for all the wrong reasons, ala, the Karate Kid movie villains. Nine or Ten years would definitely qualify as much more than a passing fancy. I would say passion could be applied.

I would definitely say that keeping your interest in Martial Arts or anything for that matter would be a passion for it, I've been doing it for the better part of 15yrs in Tang Soo Do, I've now added Hapkido to my knowledge, and can't get enough of it, and every day I look forward to going to class and learning more. And I'll keep doing it till I can't anymore

If you love what you do, I would say that obviously you have a passion for it

yes or a very hard drive to copmpltere the art that there in. the longer you traoin the better your thecnigs and overall ablites will be p[ersonl ive been in the martial arts for about 12yrs now can't wait till i hit the 15 yr mark

I think if anyone does anything for 9 to 10 years, they have a passion for it.

Yes!!! Anyone who trains or participates this long is certainly "passionate"....I know I am!!! Its a complete all in one experience......Balance of mind,body and soul...the warrior within!!!
