The Cure: Secular governments that allow the freedom to practice what ever religion a person chooses. The outcome of faith based decision making is then semi-contained with in the individual or organization. When faith based decisions that harm the general public, (ie: terrorism), raise its ugly head, then the law of the land (government) kicks in and the criminals can be prosecuted. That is the only way I can think of, that an individuals freedom can be protected while at the same time ensuring the safety of our society.

I do not view faith based decisions as necessarily bad. For the most part, they are benevolent, and helpful to our world. I believe we see the harmful aspect of faith based decisions in radicalized groups who hate those different from themselves, and want to impose their beliefs on others to the extreme of violence.
