The Bible states that Jesus will return to Earth and all of his followers will be raptured up into Heaven. I have seen many movies based on the Rapture and some people seem to think that these are the times when Jesus will come back to Earth. Armageddon will take place in the Middle East and we can all clearly see that all of the conflict there will be the actual Armeggedon the Bible speaks of. What do you think?

Soon is relative... compared to dinner tonight? Compared to the 3rd millenium? Compared to when the sun will burn out?

There have been conflicts in the Middle East repeatedly since the time of Christ.

* The Jews revolted against the Romans and the Temple was destroyed.
* Muslims took control of most of the Middle East after the time of Mohammed.
* The Crusaders and Muslims battled for the area numerous times.
* More recently, parts of Middle East were battlegrounds in WWI and WWII.
* Modern Israel has fought repeatedly for its right to exist.
* Lebanon has suffered through civil war.
* Iran and Iraq have seen the rise and fall of numerous goverments with varying degrees of violence involved.

There are probably other examples as well. None of these conflicts were the biblical Armaggeddon.

I don't think there's anything particularly unique about the current conflicts that suggest they might signal the end of the world.

In Acts 1:7 Jesus says, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority."

Mark 13:32 states, "But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. "

We're here to live our life as best (as Christ-like) as we can. We should be more concerned about what we do during the time we have than when will Jesus will come again.

I think that its getting nearer, but we never know. Only God knows when He's coming back! The wars in the middle east are a sign, but we never know how long those will last. They have been at each other for decades. The actual Armageddon will take place after the Rapture. That is stated in the Bible. So if you are a Christian (my belief) no need to worry about he "End of the World"!!!!!!!!!

well bro
people have already spoken of the amargeddon during world 1 and 2 and the many of today's gobal crisis

the man has already landed and gone-yet no one could tell
coz we're all blinded by our religious egos and selfishness about his true coming that the man should be like this or that based on your leaders while they too were seriously agnostic about this.
no offense bro but it's the truth

you've just missed the bus
wait for the next so keep all hopes high up and pray that you'll be among the chosen one

PS-are you really sure the next jesus will be speaking in your language?
don't label others but to check on the true sides of others-you just would'nt know how god works out his way
godbless

I easily have truthfully no theory, inclination to foretell it, or something like that. i imagine the authentic possibility the following is that maximum Christians (i do not see it like this) anticipate the second one coming to be the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and yuletide abruptly in this large earth-preventing metaphorical explosion of brilliant gentle. What if this is something else fullyyt and he's summarily disregarded as yet another highway preacher? scary. i'm fairly afraid any visual charm from the authentic Lord will be neglected and blown over. I anticipate criticism for this, yet you've were given to think about each and every of the possibilites. we do not recognize. The bible might want to or received't have this correct.

Biblically, the book of Revelations speaks about the rise of an Anti-Christ beforehand and about what could be a one world govt, along with quite a few miserable things before Christ comes to Earth. Keep an eye on world events for this, as well as the Mark of the Beast that will be forced on everyone in order to comply with the new system. At this point, either you go along with it and be damned in the end, or not go along with it, suffer, but will be saved in the end. Good choices to make, huh?

Islam considers Jesus as one of God's great prophets. His mission was to preach the Oneness of God and to lead man to his Lord. He never claimed to be other than a servant and a Messenger of God. The Qur'anic account of his life and mission is supported by overwhelming evidence. The Muslims do believe in and are awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus. He will come back not as God to judge the non-Christians, but as Jesus, God's servant. His coming is to correct the misconception which people have developed about his personality and his mission.he will stay for forty years which is going to be the happiest years of life on this earth. At that time everybody will believe in him as the messenger, not the Son of God. However, what about those who will not be able to live till his second coming? They better do it now

So when they had come together, they asked Him, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which The Father [see also The Logos] has fixed by His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth."

It certainly feels and looks like Jesus could return any day. Although people have thought that way for many, many years. A couple current event like the conflicts in the middle east with Israel and Arhab terrorist sure reflect His coming. the degredation of society in general also points in that direction. I certainly would welcome it!

It also says in Qoran that Jesus shall return. And there will be peace for sometime. Have U ever though why Jesus will return but not reborn. Because Jesus was not hang on the cross. It was the betrayer who was hang on the cross, not jesus. because so far we all know everybody must die, Jesus will come back and he also will die. Peace be upon him, great prophet.

What makes you think he hasn't come already? Do you think you have the eyes to see the Son of God if he were to appear now?

The "end of the world" is a widely held belief in many religions and was predicted by such people as Nostradamus.
