You need to think of death as a beginning of a new life. It's another door we walk through, much like being born. Proof that heaven exists is like proof that a god exists. Look in nature and you will find there must have been a higher power to have created this world we live in and the life inhabiting it. It is faith, not proof, that gets us through life. A loving god knows our bodies limits, after all, he created our wonderful bodies.

Can I ask you this question do you believe in God? If you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior into your life you will have no worries about dying. There is a heaven and a hell and they do exist. The only proof is getting saved and reading the word of God (the bible). This line is out of the King James version bible John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. What this is saying the God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins and those that believe in him should not perish which means "die" but have everlasting life. Those who are saved and living right will die and go onto heaven to be with the lord.

I bet death is like so many other things we fear : the anticipation of it is far worse than it is itself. Personally I don't really believe in any kind of afterlife, but obviously many ppl do. I just believe it's like it was before we were born; we simply no longer exist. The world goes on, as it did before. This is why we have to concentrate on living well; none of us has any guarantees our life is going to go on indefinitely. Worrying about death changes nothing. Chances are, most ppl will experience nothing but a quick and relatively painless death, and then that's it. No more pain or fear , etc, for them whatsoever. So, as I said at the start, the anticipation of it was worse than it was itself.

You know I have been feeling that same exact way lately. I have two absolutly wonderful boys who are 7 & 2 years old and my worst fear is dying and never being able to see them grow. However I don't know if you practice any faith, but you just have to believe that you will be here for a long time and enjoy everyday that you do have here.

Well, I've been dead once, but only for 2 mins. I didn't feel a thing, I didn't even remember.

Don't be scared, everyone will die at some point, just live life to the full.

Ah, one of the world's unsolvable questions. You'll never learn the answer until you die though, right?

BTW, I know it wasn't intentional but the "im scared to death of dying" made me laugh.

Read some of Sylvia Browne's books on the Afterlife. You can go to your local library. Very enlightening. I have a few of her books myself.
