Because you can't spell parents and you don't know the difference between the words their and there.

Forget the boys and get yourself a good education.

Hi,
Your need is only human - everyone feels it. The question is one of timing. DUring the teen yrs, hormones rule and consume every minute of the day. Also, teenage relationships tend to be short, lasting weeks or months. Both factors mean lots of chances to get into trouble!

U r not alone in this situation. But join some activities that u r passionate about. They will help build your self-esteem & confidence and that will make u stronger and more attractive over time. Also, it will give u a way to interact with boys in a secure setting.

Best wishes!

I would say it depends on the age! And the maturity level and how old the boy is! Your parents are only looking aout for u and trying to protect u cuz they love u so much! Always remember that! You can still have a boyfriend at school but I think group dates- like a bunch of u going skating or to the mall- that could be done at 13 BUT dating should be 16 years old!

it all depends on age appropriateness. some parents grew up under tight houses and they couldnt date until a certain age. other parents did date young, and made mistakes that they dont want you to repeat.

anytime they make a decision like this, I promise you, it is in the heart of wanting to protect you. even if you feel like you are ready.

the only problem with this formula is maturity. I know 14 year olds who are more mature than some 18 year olds. Age only shouldnt be an indicator of when you can date.

try to show yourself as a responsible young adult, and they will let you sooner than you know... just dont rush into anything ok?

good luck

It all depends on the age of the child. I think its best to be friends first. You can do the same things in a group as you can one on one. Why dont you ask your parents why they wont let you. Dont accept the answer "cuz we say so".

Because they're smart. Boys your age are only thinking about sex, sex, and sex. And they won't stop telling you everything they can until you give it to them. And girls your age aren't smart enough to say no, or if they do have sex, to use protection. When you get older, you will appreciate what your parents are doing. Stop complaining and concentrate on your schoolwork, even though it's hard.

most parents have an age that they will allow their children to start dating. for my kids it is 16 to be allowed to date on their own. try asking your parent what age they feel you will be ready for a dating time relation ship. In the meantime enjoy a friendly schooltime crush. :)
