I think you should donate your hair to locks of love. Your hair will go to children who have cancer that have lost all of their hair and you can donate to a child. Maybe this would not make you so nervous. I know it is hard to chop off your hair!

Oh I agree with the others when they advise to donate your beautiful hair to Locks For Love...it will make you feel so good to know that your hair is going to be made into a wig for a cancer patient (usually go to children). You will really love the shorter length, give yourself time to get used to it. If not, grow it back...that's the beauty part of hair..if you don't like is short, grow it long! Good luck...I know you'll love your hair cut!

My hair is also down to my booty! My hubby loves my hair and Im dying to cut it a little shorter cuz like u said- it takes alot of work- and pony tails daily!!!! I roll on my own hair in my sleep and that hurts! I would say maybe keep your natural color but add highlights! Coloring your hair is soooo hard on your hair and it makes it fried and split ends and dry and frizzy! Keep the natural color and add a few lighter highlights to bring out your own natural color! Enjoy your cut! My hubby said he would disown me if I cut my hair- I dont think he would though do u?

I had my hair long for a while, as yours is. Cutting it short was one of the best things I did: It was easier to care for and I got fewer headaches because I didn't have that weight tugging at my scalp all the time.

Now, you can donate the lopped locks to make a wig if it will make you feel better about getting the cut.

Good luck!

Mine is about 1-2 inches below my shoulders, and I still only put it in a ponytail or bun, but I love the way wavy or curly hair looks.

When your hair is a bit shorter it will dry quicker, plus it will be more manageable. If your hair is dark try auburn , or reds . If you are blonde try a light brown colour , or at first get your hair cut wait a few weeks then dye it .

OMG! I have really long hair too! And today I'm getting it cut! And I'm getting it really short! Well first of all after somebody cuts off your hairsend it to a place where kids have cancer, so they can make wigs. Thats what I'm doing.

Only be sure about the haircut you want, look up in magazines to find what you want according to your face and complexion, do not leave it to the taste of the stylist, the one that is goiing to have the haircut is you
