i dont think that the men and women you are sending them to will care if they are melted or broken or even stale because you have no idea how long it's been since they had mom's cookies.

My sister-in-law and I sent some over to my brother when he was over there about 3 years ago...I know that time frame probably isn't the same, but he got them in about a week and a half to 2 weeks. As far as the taste, those guys (and girls) aren't going to care...My brother said anything was better than the ready to eat meals they had.

try like oatmeal raisin cookies. Those guys are happy to get about anything. if their chocolate chips are melted i am sure they won't mind a bit. I remember my mom used to send my dad beef jerky and chips and stuff that is hard to get there. good luck!

they would be OK, if u use something like a seal. they have them at wal-mart. the bags suck the air out so its like a vacuum packed so they will stay fresh . so when the person opens the bag, they will taste just like they were just baked. look in the appliance section in wal-mart. i really think that would work for u.. i also think it is water proofed also. good luck

as long as they are now to not sweet i imagine it will be very well yet i'm not positive. in case you fairly favor croutons you should use stale bread and in case you want to get rid of the cookies placed them in a cake or use them in a cave in

If you pack them well (padded out) of course, they will survive.

You could try making homemade Shortbread

As long as they are sealed correctly... You will have to check customs in that country, they may not allow certain foods
