i've found a puppy on the street, burned with hot oil.I took it home ,to the vet, made him well in 2 awful months,we thought we was going to die. After he was well,i took him to the contryside to my grandma,so he can have a yard to play and a great life.In january i got a call:a man killed my puppy......After all these months..it still hurts like hell,i can't forgive,forget..and i feel the need for revenge. In my country there are no laws to punish such crimes, specialy at the country side....nobody cares...if an animal gets killed.......How can i find my peace.?..how can i heal my soul?

Whoa...that's awful! I will never understand why some people think they can get away with the abuse and or killing of a life especially if it's for a twisted pleasure. My cat (from the vet)was abused as a kitten and was thrown out like trash in a plastic bag along with her brother (he found a good home too.) My second cat (from the shelter) was abused as a kitten (her eyes were swollen and her tail had been broken) and she is still skiddish especially around men and she is deathly afraid of the look and sound of belts/buckles of any kind but she's a beautiful and loving soul.
As for your puppy, You are a beautiful person to care for that puppy. I hope that you reported the abuse to the police...whether or not if you know who did it. There might have been similar reports. Police do take this seriously! There are laws dealing with animals and these sick people will eventually get caught and will get punished. I catch and take strays to the animal shelter any time I encounter one. I know if I can catch them then anyone can. That's what worries me. At least the animals will have food and shelter and hopefully will find it's home or a new one.
You've done what you can, you can't take on the world but you should find peace in what you've done for that one puppy. Vengeance won't do you a bit of good...but vigilance will. Heal by helping and YOU will be rewarded.
There are many people who care...if you have the strength and knowledge then fight for animal rights where you reside. You can do it and you'll be surprised just how many people will be willing to help you!
Good luck!

I am so sorry to hear about your tragic loss, and I do not blame you for the way you feel. People at times can be awful and it is sad to think we are the superior beings who do such cruel and uncivilized acts. It takes time to heal and you probally never forget but it will get easier. You can save another dog in memory of your puppy. Its not the puppy you lost but you can put your energy into helping another. You could volunteer at an animal shelter and help lots of animals. After I lost my dog tragically I was not ready for a long time to have another but animals do help heal so I volunteered at the SPCA to help the animals and me. Or get involved with an animals right group and lobby for tougher laws when it comes to animal cruelty.

I am so sorry. I wish there were some miracle word I could say that would make it all better. Supposedly "the soul can have no rainbows, less the eyes have some tears" I work in rescue and am still waiting for some rainbows. It never will leave you completely. You will always remember, especially when you, out of habit speak of, or think of him in the present. I do believe that dogs will be in heaven, if you are a believer. There's nothing that could convince me otherwise. Till we meet, may God bless and keep you.

You must know that you did the best you could for the puppy. He had happy times because of you.

But also know that there are laws against this. It is animal abuse and can result in prison time.

Statistics prove that those who deliberately hurt animals go on to abuse people. You do no favors to people or animals by ignoring the abuse and wallowing in grief. Call the police and have the guy arrested.

It's always a terrible thing when a pet dies. View the Rainbow Bridge poem. Maybe helping another animal out may soothe the pain a little, but only time will heal the wounds.

You miss the puppy, that's shows. But, there isn't much you can do, the puppy was treated badly before you found it and you saved it's life and gave it the best like you possibly could have.

If there's nothing you can do legally, then at least you know you did what you could to save the life of the puppy. Karma rules.

The answer is clear, he must be punished.Don't kill him,but mame or cripple him and let him know why. At very least he should be reported to any authority and/or animal rights group that will listen. I can assure you if anyone deliberately harmed my dogs they would most certainly end up hospitalized.

Time will heal most wounds. Maybe rescuing another animal will help also.
