Proverbs 30:11-14
There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

The last twenty to twenty-five years have produced a profound number of unruley people. Most have a total lack of respect and regard for kindness. And this is my own generation I am speaking of before anyone takes offence. So is this the generation the Bible spoke of?

These are the perilous times that have come upon us that paul talked about

Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2 Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

There are not any more unruly people that there were before. Have you forgotten the Crusades, World War II, or any number of wars and/or atrocities that have occurred prior to the last quarter of a century.

"Most people have a total lack of respect and regard for kindness."

How do you know? Have you met most everyone? You're making general conclusions about the temperament and cultures of people you've never met. Where do you reserve the right to judge others of any culture or age?

You have little to no faith in humanity. That is your problem and you're extending it to everyone. You've obviously been treated poorly by one or more people. Not everyone is this way, but assuming the worst in people will do little to change your attitude.

People are not perfect.

Here is a quote you should think about.

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
-Gandhi

If you want people to extend respect and compassion to you, then you should extend it to them. Try walking a mile in another person's shoes before you judge them.

YES! We are living in what the Bible calls the "last days". Read 2 Timothy 3:1 - 13. It describes our times to a T. Look for the leaflet "The End of False Religion is Near!" coming soon to your house.

That verse has probably been quoted for a thousand years, in 20 different countries and 40 different generations. No, I don't think so.

Funny stuff. Fact is, that generation has ALWAYS existed. The young have ALWAYS revolted against their parents and been unruly, rude and disprespectful. That's what being an adolescent MEANS.

Were you absent during life?
