I have two brothers and a sister, all older. We had the usual sibling rivalry growing up ("Mom always liked you best" syndrome), but nothing really permanent. I think we all hated at least one of the other ones at some point or another.

Personally, I love them all to pieces for different reasons. I have an Adoring Eldest Brother, A Practical but Loving Sister, and my own personal Peter Pan. I think they're all wonderful!!

I had an uncle I adored (long dead). Otherwise, I have no real relationship with any aunts/uncles/cousins. Grandparents are all long dead. My father was strict, rigid, and volatile. My mother was the cookie baking type who cleaned, fixed boo-boos and generally tried to guilt you into behaving.

(*laughter*) I have a great family. A delightful mix of oddly dysfunctional and painfully normal. I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Well more info about what you exactly want would be helpful, but I ll give it a go..
My family among many others I am sure is all screwed up, I am 32 years old, and my family was always this way.. but then I married at 19 and had two babies by 25 ....... and his family is just as screwed up as mine.
My mother was very abusive, my step father was alright but get after me a few times to keep my mother happy. My brothers one older and 11 younger then me all boys by the way... there is 13 of us all together, I am the only girl ..... we got along for the most part but older brother always picked on the younger ones including me, they blamed me for everything as I was the only girl and was thought to be speical in my step daddies eyes as I was his little girl only one mind you. But in the long run even though my family was messed up in a way that was almost normal to most in this world we all still had our problems, everyone does, its not your family you need to worry about .. its when you get older and decided to marry a man, I lucked out the man I chose to be my mate and he me, we are two peas in a pod.. Yes we have our problems... yes we are not the perfect married couple, but we are perfect for each other,... woman gals, ladies remember these rules as I have and you can find your perfect man to... don't do the 4 no no..... here is a check list for you all..Do not marry rich men, they think they can buy you off, do not marry drunk men, do not marry druggies, and what so ever do not marry known abusers...... good luck and have it.

Set up boundries. Maintain your privacy. Treat them courtesy and respect. If someone comes to you in confidence then keep that confidence whether you agree with the action or not. Stay out of squabbles. Try not to live within a 2 hour radius. Never Never inconvenience yourself. If you can help please do but never at the sacrifice of anything for yourself and your family. Time is easily managed.

I have a really great relationship with ALL 3 of my sisters. Also, my Mom and I are very close, and she is ALWAYS there for me no matter what. My Dad, on the other hand, is pretty much non-existant.

I grew up with my grandparents, and was a spoiled brat, that was great.
Except that some uncles seem to envy that saying that I was just wasting their pensions.
