Christians (or any religious believers) require solid evidence for things like evolution, the Big Bang theory or other scientific explanations for natural phenomena, like any other rational human being. But when it comes to matters of the Bible, Quran, etc. they accept its answers without evidence.
Now, I know there will be people that say faith is the reason for this, but how can anyone arbitrarily apply faith to some circumstances but not others? How is religion exempt from proof?
More importanty, why don't more Christians have faith that science is correct? They should not require evidence in one arena and refuse to acknowledge the need for it in any other.

bill, this is exactly what I'm talking about. There is no proof in your statement. You say, "The proof that the Bible is true lies in the fact that it says it's true." This is circular logic and makes no rational sense.
