Pixel shaders are peices of software built into graphics drivers. If it says not supported there to me are two possibilities
1) your card dopesnt support pixel shading
or
2) Your drivers are out of date

For drivers check out http://www.nvidia.com/ or http://www.ati.com/

If you need a new card which i would reccomend if you dont have one of the two makes I highlighted above, my reccomendation is a Geforce 6000 series from Nvidia as these are budget and perfect if you dont want top notch performance
