well i'm 30 years old and I have been wrapping my hair since i was 5 years old. i teach you like my mom taught me.

Step 1 part your hair down the middle like your going to give yourself two ponytails.

Step 2 then part your hair from ear to ear, like you are going to give yourself 4 ponytails two in the front , two in the back.

Step 3 then take the two front sections and brush then foward (it's best to use a vent brush, the one that's most like a comb) take the two back sections and brus them back.

this should leave you with your hair divided by a part from ear to ear (the one you made in step 2 ; the part from step one should have been brushed away).

Step 4 then take the front section of your hair and brush it all either left or right (which every one you want but the direction you choose you will have to keep for all eternity). around to the back section of your hair.

Step 5 then take the back section and the part that was brushed from the front and continue around your head until you whole head is wrapped. Tie with a silk scarf or like me use a stocking cap or a duppie scarf like the bros. use for the low fades and viola you have wrapped your hair.

PLEASE NOTE: Your wrap will not be perfect ( you might have hairs pointing a a couple of different directions), hense the scarf, that takes time but keep doing it sweetie and it will happen. And done forget to use grease I like TCB Naturals. And when you take your wrap down spay hair with oil sheen. This will prevent your hair from breaking and your hair will grow longer, faster.

This is the perfect answer for you: once my sister had the same problem and i recommended this solution to her and after a 3 week to 1 month period her hair was accustom to the wrap and was growing quickly and healthy; Here are the instructions to follow:
1. Part your hair straight across to the front.
2. The front part that is now tho the front of the hair take a comb and comb it all to either the left or the right ( your choice).
3. The same format you did for the front of the hair proceed in doing this to the rest of the hair ( take the comd and comb it the the shape of your head).
4. when you're finished ensure that you hair wrap looks like a short hair style just with a whole in the middle something like an 'O' .
5. After you take 1 fingertip of grease and rub the palm of your hands together.
6. The grease that is in the palm of your hands now place it in your in the same circular or "O" motion that your hair is presently in.
7. Tie the hair with a cloth of your choice but the best hair cloth to use is a silk or satin cloth because this penetrates the grease for the roots too the end of the hair.

you have to find your natural part.
when your hair is damp, brush it all back, place the palm of your hand on your head, push forward and see which direction the majority of the hair goes. that is your natural part. wrap in that direction (the heavier side).

you can sometimes manipulate the natural direction your hair grows with a relaxer, but it takes a while.

if your hair is not frizzy, the best time is right after a relaxer. but when you do your relaxer make sure you don't do a center part. relaxer you hair the way you would like your wrap to fall( side part/slanted part). i prefer roller set wrap because it is not so flat and it doesn't require all that heat.

(for looser curl dilute wrap lotion)

regular rollerset
dryer or air dry
brush curls into a wrap
tie down with a cute scarf
go do what you gotta do
comb down later or next day
repeat b4 bed
LASTS ABOUT 2 WEEKS

IN A RUSH
you can also do tight curls with hot iron
(not a tiny one)
wrap
tie up
comb down 20min- 1hr

it'll take a while to get it actually trained. it will not happen overnight. just wrap your hair everynight. try getting your hair wrapped whenever you go to your hairdresser. don't get any styles that require holding spray and gels - they weight your hair down. make sure to use a silk scarf - not cotton. whenever you're home just keep your hair wrapped until you plan on leaving the house or something. over time, it will work.
