What is so important that people speed and pass in school zones. Is being late for work, or your nail appointement, or Pilates class worth potentially killing a school child with your car....What is wrong with people?

To answer your first question, why they speed: At slow speeds children get tangled up in the undercarriage. At high speeds they get tossed clear, minimizing damage to the car.

To answer your second question, whats wrong with them: They are self centered and think only about what they have to do and the rest of the world be damned.

What's worse? When you have a police officer pull along side and tell you to speed up. True story. I had that happen to me when I was driving to the naval station. I was driving through a school zone, slowed down, because it was between the hours posted on the school zone signs. I was floored seeing people going about 55 through a school zone. Then to top it all off, I was pulled over and given a warning for going too slow. A warning for ACTUALLY OBEYING THE LAW!!!!

Then I really started paying attention to the way the morons drive around here. Just because NASCAR is a big sport here in the south, doesn't mean you can drive like you're at Daytona or whatever.

A few months ago a bunch of school kids were hit by a speeding car and people were outraged. Until I pointed out what happens if someone should follow the traffic laws. But guess what? The very same people that were outraged by the incident are the very same people who believe that the rules of the road are for the other guy. That it doesn't apply to them.

They are idiots that's why. Apart from the fact that they may kill or damage a child for life, they don't realize that the legal implications are enormous. If you hit someone and it is shown that you were driving faster than the posted speed limit you get nailed for manslaughter.

You have been rushing. pay the high quality and the greater coverage rates which will incorporate it. If P.A. grants it, in keeping with risk you will get to attend driving college and weasel out of the value tag. At any value (pun meant) you have been rushing, in a college zone. don't be a wuss and cry over 2 miles. Pay up. i'm bored with folk making errors and looking out in charge somebody or not take accountability for his or her strikes. PAY THE high quality!!!!

It's so hard to go 15 mph. Even with my foot off the gas pedal, I still coast at more than 15 mph. So I hold at 20 mph and call it good.

Because so many people believe that where they have to go is more important than what anyone else is doing, even at the cost of innocent lives. I would also like to know what's wrong with people.

You know that you can write donw the tag number and go to the police station and write that person a ticket?? My aunt does it when people speed down her one way street.

It could be your own personal crusade, and get on the news so that the people know you are doing it- then you will surely get the person found guilty.

The same reason people speed in general- they aren't paying attention or they don't see any children around so they figure that they don't have to slow down.

I likely has to do with the fact that 15 miles per hour is very slow and hard to do. It is sort of like 25 mile per hour speed limits....hard to drive at that speed.

They do not have any care for anyone but them selves if they did they would not do this. In my opinion police should have the right to arrest and send to jail and revoke their licenses permanently. Or just shoot their tires out to stop them and then torture them.
