Everything is pretty in heaven, wonderful to gaze at.
As I have never been in heaven yet, I cannot prove anything, but I think that in heaven we are not conscious of anything we have left behind us. And we feel no regrets about leaving any possessions, and even family members. I believe that God will remove anything negative and all kind of stuff that worries us while we are down here.
I know that I am not able to take anything with me when I leave this place, that gives me incentive to not try to accumulate too much here and I try to help others to have it nice here too. And I am totally accepting the fact that I will not be able to see all the people in heaven I love, but I have faith that God gives me everything needed to deal with that fact in heaven.
Well, I personally like pretty things. So I believe that I got that appreciation from my Maker. I believe that heaven is something that I cannot even comprehend, because it has been taking so long for my Lord to prepare it for us.
And I do beleive that the Relevation is true. It is like a play with six scenes, all telling the same story with diffent things. And we should not even try to speculate when He is coming back, because we will not know until He is here. So be ready. All generations since His frist coming have had the things happening what is the "end of the time" stuff...and that is how it will be until He comes back. So the last times have been here since the time of Jesus, only Father knows. As we have a lot of questions about heaven and the endo of the times, be ready, that is the important thing to know.

Um, it's pretty and shiny? Personally I'd prefer platinum or beryllium but gold is more plentiful and immediately recognizable by the multitude of peasants.

It was said one time someone wanted to take a bag of gold to Heaven. Special permission was granted. When St. Peter met him, he looked in the bag and exclaimed... pavement?

the same as Titanic survivors found clinging to it and drowning
just a ploy like camels and women for you ready and waiting in paradise
whatever you want to hear, then put money in the hat and keep attending, like politicians they will keep telling what you want to be true as long as you support it

How important is our streets here? Yes we travel on them but we don't see ourselves chipping away at them and trying to sell. They are important for travel but monetary they are worthless when it comes to trade.
I think it shows us two things. Money isn't important to God, it's so not important that one of our most valued treasures is what the streets are made of. Also I think heaven is going to be the most beautiful place possible so God just wanted to give us the best looking streets he could create.

It is good for proving that what people hold so dearly important on this earth is just material for making roads in heaven. Isnt it that they are for the roads there?
